Not all severe, recurring headaches are migraines.
Headaches arising from the neck are known as "cervicogenic" headaches and are usually associated with a predictable pattern of findings on examination.
Identification of these findings helps us to differentiate between migraine, tension-type headache and cervicogenic headache.
This enables us to provide effective treatment with manual therapy, exercise therapy and ergonomic/lifestyle advice.
